Image Upload Policy

Effective October 1, 2026

Heir Aura members can add an Image showcase to their profile. Those images are public: anyone who can see your profile can see them. This policy covers what may be uploaded, how images are reviewed, and what we do when one breaks the rules. It applies alongside our Terms of Service.

1. Who can upload

Uploading needs an active Heir Aura membership and an account in good standing. You may only upload images you made or have the right to share. You are responsible for everything you upload.

2. What is not allowed

  • Nudity, sexual content, or sexually suggestive images.
  • Any sexual or sexualized depiction of a minor. We report this to the authorities.
  • Graphic violence, gore, or content that glorifies self-harm.
  • Hate symbols, slurs, or content that attacks people for who they are.
  • Harassment, threats, or images meant to shame or target a person.
  • Someone else’s private information: real names with addresses, documents, private messages, or photos of people who have not agreed to be posted.
  • Illegal goods or services, cheats, or account selling.
  • Spam, scams, phishing, or misleading QR codes and links.
  • Impersonating another person, Team, League, or Heir staff.
  • Images you do not have the right to use.

Gameplay screenshots, match results, Team artwork, memes, and photos of your setup or events are all welcome, as long as they stay inside the rules above.

3. Technical limits

JPEG, PNG, or WebP images up to 8 MB. One Image showcase per profile, showing one image. We re-encode every upload and remove embedded metadata such as location data before it is shown.

4. Reporting an image

Signed-in Users can report any image from the menu on the Image showcase. Reports are confidential: the uploader is never told who reported. An image reported by several people may be hidden until it has been reviewed. Filing reports in bad faith is itself a breach of the Terms of Service.

5. Review and enforcement

Reported images are reviewed by Heir staff. If an image breaks this policy we remove it and tell you which rule it broke. Removals count as strikes:

  • Each removed image is one strike.
  • Three strikes within 90 days pauses your ability to upload for 30 days.
  • Serious violations can pause uploading immediately, and may lead to suspension of your account under the Terms of Service.

Losing the ability to upload does not refund or pause an Aura membership.

6. Appeals

If you think we got it wrong, you can appeal a removal once, from the notice in your Inbox, within 30 days. A member of staff reviews the appeal. If it is upheld, the image is restored and the strike is cleared.

7. Copyright

If an image on Heir uses your work without permission, email hello@heir.gg with a link to the profile, a description of the original work, and your contact details. We remove infringing images and may restrict accounts that infringe repeatedly.

8. How long we keep images

Images you delete are removed from your profile right away. Removed images are kept privately for 30 days so an appeal can be reviewed, then deleted. If your Aura membership ends, your images are hidden and kept for 60 days in case you renew, then deleted. See our Privacy Policy for the rest.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the feature changes. Questions: hello@heir.gg.
